Keystone Constructions constructed a granny flat and extended our house. We had a few hidden problems from being an older house and each obstacle the team was able to overcome all our challenges. We lived in our house through out the renovations and team would clean up after everyday. We were on a tight time frame to have the granny flat built in a short period of time, and this was completed on time. We had so many wonderful comments on our granny flat and extensions. In October 2020 I commenced a search for a quality local and trusted builder. After visiting a previous build with Tim it was a no brainer that he carried out quality work and had received glowing recommendations from the owner of the house. Once the project got going Tim advised that it could take up to 6 months to complete. With the build being conducted during covid it was amazing that there weren't any major delays due to lack of building products or subcontractors. To Tim's credit he was always there for discussions and to guide me through what was happening next. During the build Tim's main offsider Matt was on site a lot with apprentice Colin. I found them both very professional and eager to answer questions and to guide me through the process. I could go on detailing every part of the build but will say that every aspect of the build was done to my total satisfaction, quality workmanship being carried out, good workflow and organisation of subby's in work been carried out and a pleasing final result. I embarked on building my dream home in the country with Tim several years ago now. I didn’t really know what I was getting myself in to but Tim helped me every step of the way. From the concept design, planning, consultants, custom solutions to issues that popped up along the way…. Tim had it all covered. I first met Tim when Strongbuild appointed him as the supervisor of the works that we had contracted Strongbuild to do. At the time I did have concerns on Tim's appointment. He was only 19 years of age, I wasn't sure that, at such a young age, Tim had the experience to handle a build of this size. As most of the trades people working on the site were older than Tim ( in some cases considerably ) I also doubted his ability to communicate effectively and manage a large diverse group of people. My reservations were quickly dispelled. Tim has a commitment to excellence, his attention to detail is second to none, as is his drive and energy. He was able to bring the team working on site together and get all to commit to the high standards that he expected as well as to the ambitious completion date. As with most major projects unforeseen problems did arise, Tim's ability to problem solve, meant all were resolved to my complete satisfaction. Following the completion of my build, and other successful projects, Tim became be a Partner of Strongbuild, then went on to establish Keystone Quality Constructions. We have engaged Tim almost every year to continue doing work on our home. Throughout this time Tim was not only our builder but also became our friend.
